  • Medical:  We offer two medical plans though M-Plan; a traditional HMO with no deductibles and reasonable co-pays; another option provides an alternative for coverage outside your home network.

  • Vision:  A reasonably-priced vision plan option is available through VSP.

  • Dental:  You may participate in a cost-shared dental plan administered by MetLife.
  • Life Insurance: Work for Midwest HealthStrategies and you are automatically covered for 2 times your annual salary.  Low-cost additional life and an inexpensive family coverage option are also available.

  • Disability Coverage:  Short-term and Long-term Disability coverages are also provided free.  STD pays 60% of your regular pay after a short waiting period, and LTD pays up to 60% if you are disabled for an extended period of time.

  • Continuing Education:  Covers costs of workshops and seminars.

  • Tuition Reimbursement:  Pays for any college-level coursework.

  • Flexible Spending Accounts:  These accounts allow for payment out-of-pocket healthcare and childcare expenses with pre-tax dollars, which can save you many hundreds of dollars -- even thousands –- a year in taxes.

  • PDO:  A generous time-off plan which allows up to 28 paid-days-off per year, starting your first year.

  • 403b:  This plan encourages you to save for retirement with tax–free dollars and a generous company match.  Save up to 4% of your pay and MWHS will match it dollar for dollar – all of it invested in a specially designed selection of funds through Lincoln Alliance.
