Dysphagia Treatment

Clinical Dysphagia evaluations are available to infants, children and adults experiencing difficulty with feeding and/or swallowing.   Modified Barium Swallow Studies are available for further evaluation and are done in radiology with the Speech-Language Pathologist and Radiologist.  This examination looks very closely at food and liquid being swallowed via a moving X-ray, and allows definitive diagnosis of aspiration and/or dysphagia.  Treatment and follow-up is available for all ages to maximize swallow and feeding potential.

A possible adjunct treatment for dysphagia is Vitalstim Therapy
