Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy focuses on promoting independence in daily activities that limit a person from being able to do essential tasks related to self-care, home management, or return to school or work. These limitations may be due to illness, injury or the aging process. Treatment involves therapeutic activities and exercise and is often based upon the actual daily task that is of concern. Treatment may also include training in adaptive techniques or the use of adaptive equipment.
