Comprehensive voice evaluations are done in our Voice Lab by a Speech-Language Pathologist. The videostroboscopy procedure illuminates and magnifies the view of the larynx and vocal cords during voicing and at rest to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions. Additional acoustic and aerodynamic assessment tools are available and allow for further evaluation of vocal function. We also serve the laryngectomy patient population in the Voice Lab specializing in alaryngeal speech options including (but not limited to) the use of voice prostheses.
