Communication is essential to successful management and tracking of Workers’ Compensation cases.  Our WC Rehab Care Coordinator is available all day, every day to assist you with tracking and documenting your claimant’s progress anywhere within the MWHS Rehabilitation Network of outpatient clinics.  The WC Rehab Care Coordinator:

• Is the Workers Compensation Rehabilitation central contact point for Medical Case Managers and adjustors for all MWHS Outpatient Clinics – one number to call to ask a question or follow-up on a patient’s progress – directed appropriately without guessing which of our outpatient clinics your claimant may be at.
• Tracks all WC Rehab patients being treated in the MWHS network and “staffs” these patients on a weekly basis as an internal quality control.
• Works with Case Managers, Adjusters and Physician offices to ensure lines of communication remain open; each individual clinic is responsible for receiving and documenting treatment authorizations and for sending appropriate documentation to referring sources.  If there are problems in receiving this information, the WC Rehab Care Coordinator will work internally to get you the information in the timeliness you expect and to fix the breakdown in process.
• If you need to speak directly to the treating clinician, the WC Rehab Care Coordinator will ensure the appropriate clinician returns a call to you in a timely basis around your schedule.
• If you have a WC Rehab question about anything within the MWHS network, call our Care Coordinator at 765-751-3362.  If he does not have the answer, he will find the person who does.
